Understanding All-on-4
All-on-4 combines dental implants and dentures to replace missing teeth. The system includes four dental implants per arch, with the implants holding a complete arch of the dentures.
How All-on-4 Works
The All-on-4 procedure can give you new teeth with minimal disruption to your daily life. We use advanced imaging and planning software to create a custom treatment plan.
Then, Dr. Bhave can perform any necessary extractions to leave your entire tooth arch empty and ready for restoration.
Next, Dr. Bhave positions the four implants. Two implants go on either side of the front two teeth (in the lateral incisor area,) where she positions them vertically, anchoring them in the bone.
The other two implants go in the premolar area, just in front of the molars. These back implants go at a 45-degree angle, maximizing their stability.
With the implants in place, Dr. Bhave attaches a denture. The result is a stable, natural-looking set of teeth that feel and function like your own.
